Well folks, greetings from Sharons house. I had a run to Terre Haute today and decided I would stop in for supper and what a supper we had. Grilled burgers, baked beans, tater salad, chips and a hot blackberry cobler, the blackberries were but a few hrs old when they gave up their life for our enjoyment. Y'all missed a good supper. Sorry, but I did eat enough for two.
We had a lovely trip to South Carolina last week to see David graduate. It was so hot I should have melted away some fat but no such luck. We looked on the map and decided we were only 6 hours from Andrea and what a shame to be that close and not go see her , so, thats what we did. David graduated at 10:30 Friday morning and had to leave right away to get to Ft. Eustes V. by Saterday so they went north and we were in Florida by 10:00pm. We left there on Sunday after church and were home at 4:00 am Monday morning. I was supposed to have a run to Huntington Va at 9:00 that morning then they called and said the run was postponed untill 1:00 that afternoon so I went back to bed. Then at 12:30 they called again and said it wouldnt be ready until 4:00pm . then the dispatcher called and told me he was tired of them jerking me around and messing up his plans for my week so he canceled it alltogether and I didnt have a run until the next day. After all that I was glad , cause I still needed sleep, needless to say I was so tired by then I couldnt sleep. I'm all better now, caught up and all, and DRIVING A BRAND NEW TRUCK TOO. I picked it up yesterday with less that 700 miles on it, Its really nice and I'm sure I will like it after I get all the kinks worked out of if. Its so tight and stiff and stuff is all in the wrong place. The air conditioner is a dream tho so I'm not complaining at all. Monday I go to Chicago and that should break it in very well. Construction, traffic,more traffic and more construction, I hate going to Chicago with a passion. I'd rather go to N.J. any day of the week. Greg is bugging me for the computer, poor thing he is so internet deprived.
