Apple Tree
This apple tree was a volunteer in my back yard but was growing too close to the house, so about 8 years ago I dug it up and planted it out in the yard. Last year it had three narley little apples that the birds wouldnt even eat, but... this year it is loaded . The apples are only about the size of a golf ball and are already turning red as you can see in the top one on this cluster. The tree is only about 15 feet tall and the branches are about the size of two fingers together so I'm thinking I will have to prop up some of these branches to keep them from breaking. I have had problems in the past with neighborhood kids stealing watermelons and using my tomatoes for splatter balls. So, I'm thinking... an electric fence,... bees.... a doberman...... surveillance cameras...I'm open for suggestions!!!

Fenced in yard WITH Doberman pinscher! ;) It really is sad that there is NO RESPECT for anyone's property these days. Good luck. Love you.
Oh are you blessed! Your own apples! I sure wish we had apples, cherries, grape vines, peaches, all kinds of fruit!
I would choose a privacy fence with a Doberman too!
Nice to hear from you again.
A high fence with a Doberman, and keep the gates padlocked so no one can unlock them and let the dog loose ...then sue you for getting bitten..........and DON'T trust Greg to see that they are locked
