I want a piece of moms pie! I went to a local fruit market today that closes every year from Jan to March. They were having an end of season sale and had bananas for 10 cents a pound. Well I just couldn't pass that up and had to make Greg a banana nut bread. It smelled so good baking that I had to sample it to make sure it was fit to eat, ya know? Yum yum.
Saturday I had my first run in three weeks , to Florida no less. I got to spend a few hours with Andrea and the babies. They are growing way too fast. Dominic pulls himself up but wont attempt to take a step by himself. Destiny is such a little lady, she reminds me of Andrea at three years old. The temp was in the 70s in Florida , it was hard to leave the babies and the sunshine. The closer I got to the Ga. ,Tn. line the worse the weather became. The radio said that I was going right into the path of a tornado that was on the ground about 40 miles to my west. So, my (guys) were called into action once again. I stopped at a rest area in a valley and waited out the weather. There was also a traffic accident up the road a piece that had the interstate shut down. I was glad for the break since I had been driving several hours. I took my time and ate supper, did my paperwork and watched it rain, and after about an hour the road and the weather cleared up, an I went on my way. I was greeted with winter again when I got home. The next day I went to Indianapolis and it snowed the entire day but it wasn't sticking. I have a three day weekend and Monday I have a run to Alexandria, Va. See ya in the funny papers.
